The Tryp Ambassador is located in the historical centre, very close to the Royal Palace, the Opera, the Senate and Gran Via. It occupies the old palace of the Dukes de Granada de Ega, keeping its original structure. The hotel consists of 182 rooms, (including 2 Senior Suites and 21 Junior Suites), 5 banquet and conference rooms of varying capacities, a breakfast buffet, our Restaurant El Invernadero, in the purest of traditional Madrid cooking as well as the relaxed atmosphere Bar Entrepatios.

Hotel was in a convenient location and met my expectations based upon the description and guest reviews provided on booking.com.

Hotel's free wireless did not work well within my room. I suppose you get what you pay for in terms it being free after all.

The hotel was very clen and well presented. All the staff were polite and helpfull. The room was spacesious, very clean and comfortable.

Our room fronted onto a busy one way street and road noise could be heard throughout the night (especially the rubbish collection lorry at 2:30 - 3 am each very early morning).

good size of room

our safe did not work, which meant we took our valuables with us. Then our bag was stolen from a nearby cafe and we lost money, cards, camera, phone, etc.
